The Royal Rose Inn was built in the late 1920s as a duplex beach cottage. Much of the original wainscoting and wide wood trim has been preserved, contributing to the Inn's charm and simplicity. The inn features a large, screened front porch with a guest refrigerator, a sundeck, a roof top hot tub, a common room with a TV/VCR, stereo and reading material, and beach towels and chairs for guest use at the beach. At the Royal Rose Inn, your day starts with the aroma of fresh-brewed coffee and a buffet style breakfast served on the screened porch, where you can read the morning paper, chat with new or old friends, or simply watch the early-bird beachgoers head down Baltimore Avenue. Breakfast features selections of fresh fruit of the season, fresh baked breads, coffee cakes, cereal, and always a special hot entree of the day. Gourmet teas, juices, and of course, a bottomless coffeepot round out the morning.

The sandy beaches are a short walk away. The area also has several good golf courses. A short distance from the inn, on the highway, is over 100 outlet shops with tax-free shopping in Delaware. The inn is a also just step away from the town's sandy white beaches, fine dining, clubs, shops and boutiques. Other local attractions include boat tours, nature walks, bird sanctuaries, Delaware's first winery, charter fishing, tennis, kayaking, and trail riding and beach rides on Tennessee walking horses. |

41 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE - Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport: Depart airport going northwest on Airport Terminal Road. Turn right onto Airport Road. Turn right onto Walston Switch Road. Turn slightly right onto US-50 East/Ocean GTWY. Turn left onto Sixty Foot Road, which becomes Gumboro Road, which then becomes DE-26. Stay straight to go onto Millsboro Highway/DE-30, and continue to follow DE-30 North. DE-30 North becomes John J Williams Highway/DE-24. Turn right onto Coastal Highway South/DE-1 South. Continue to follow DE-1 South. Turn slightly left onto Rehoboth Avenue/DE-1 Alternate East. Turn left onto 1st Street, then left onto Baltimore Avenue and continue until you reach the property. |
